Online Test was scheduled on 5th Sept, 9:00 am. It took place on the SHL-proctored platform Talent Central. Around 200+ students have registered for the Online Test. The test had two coding questions and lasted 45 minutes.

I solved both the questions in around 20 mins. There were no MCQs based on CS subjects. I am aware that the coding questions are very elementary, but when preparing for any company, be sure to review the questions that the company asked the year before. Because questions on online tests administered by SAP Lab are typically of the easy to medium level

Results were released on September 7th, and a total of 16 students were selected to move on to the second round. e. Technical Round.

Technical Round I was scheduled for 8th Sept, 9:30 am. It was conducted on Microsoft Teams.

Questions on OOPS, DBMS, Low-Level Design Using OOP, and Database Design Using SQL Queries were frequently asked in SAP Labs. However, be ready with all of your CS coursework because you never know what the interviewer will ask you.

He then asked me a few coding-related questions and asked me to share my screen and launch Visual Studio Code.

This round lasted for around 45-50 mins. As you can see, the majority of this round is based on the OOPS concept, so whatever response you provide, be aware that the following question will be based on that response.

The list of students shortlisted for the following round was revealed after 30 minutes. Eight students in total were chosen to move on to the next round.

Technical Round 2 was scheduled for 8th Sept, 11:45 am. It was conducted on Microsoft Teams.

Typically, each interviewer keeps a shared spreadsheet where they list all the topics they plan to cover throughout the interview process. They will therefore include at least one question from each concept in every process.

This round lasted for around 30 mins. The list of students shortlisted for the following round was revealed after 30 minutes. Seven students in total were chosen to move on to the next round.

The HR round aims to determine whether you’re a good fit for the position by evaluating your personality, strengths, weaknesses, and ability to handle the role. It also involves checking your background.

This round lasted for just 10 mins. This was the last round. Six students in total were chosen for the summer internship after the results were revealed after two hours. And I was fortunate to be one of them.

Intern Interview

Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at SAP (Singapore) in Mar 2022

Interview

Stage 1: Online assessment – ClearedStage 2: take-home test – ClearedStage 3: a face-to-face online meetingThe interviewers seemed rude and disinterested in my application in the face-to-face meeting. They took their own sweet time to ask questions (sometimes repeated questions) but rushed to end the meeting when I wanted to ask questions about the role and the work environment. Plus one of the interviewers didn’t even turn on their camera, which showed a very bad attitude and implied that they were not keen to have me on the team. Hope SAP looks into this so that other prospective interns and employees are not treated in the same way.

Do not show your fear or uneasiness in handling pressure. Everyone wants a worker who can handle pressure with composure and a focused mind. Show how, under pressure, you would arrive at a decision logically.

When you talk about how you’ve impacted your coworkers, clients, or partners in business or at school, employers adore it. Because of the effort and creativity you put into it, it ought to be fruitful.

Either preference is acceptable, but keep in mind that you must be able to justify it. If you say recognition, then support that by describing how achievement really carries weight with you and how you like to feel valued in the work that you do because it validates that you’re helping your coworkers / customers, etc. If you select money, you can also state why it is significant to you as proof and emphasize how it is significant to you in light of your objectives (financial security, supporting your family, etc.). The key is to be authentic with your answer. However, if you claim to value higher pay because you’re greedy, be aware that this typically conflicts with most companies’ values or vision.

Understanding others’ goals and objectives is the first step in inspiring them. When you know what people want, you can motivate them with a vision that is in line with their values. People care about having a purpose, being successful (and recognized for it), making a meaningful contribution, receiving financial rewards to some extent, and much more. When you know what people have set as their goals, you can then motivate them through one-on-one pep talks, group presentations, and other means.

Candidates who are unable to respond to the question or who provide a response that is significantly better than average demonstrates that they have not done market research or that their expectations are too high. Good response: A sum or range that corresponds to their level of skill mastery and the going rate in the industry.

-To define success as an intern, I would say that as long as you are learning and improving you are succeeding, regardless of position. Success is when you complete your internship with more knowledge and improved skills than when you began, regardless of your position or background.

-Because there are so many different internship opportunities available, be sure to identify those that align with your interests and areas of passion. I was so overwhelmed with the options that I applied to a ton of positions without giving my passions for those positions enough thought.

-Bring everything you’ve got and do everything you can; you’ll see the results as positive and fruitful.

-Hardworking and family-oriented can both be used to describe the culture at SAP Ariba. Every day, we collaborate to create the best products and experiences for both internal and external customers, putting aside differences in our backgrounds, roles, departments, and levels of experience. Additionally, we interact with one another both during and outside of work hours, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, and challenge one another to do better.

-I would say projects. What matters to us is the practical work you did and the impact you had on groups and teams. If you don’t have any prior work experience, be sure to emphasize the fantastic projects you’ve completed!
