Doorbells,kids,animals,basic chit chat,ranting,music. Your breaks are scheduled, so as soon as you manage to block out the distractions, your 15-minute break is due.

I call them and inquire as to what we might have done differently. I always try to find something I can learn. You can always respond to adversity. I consider my parents and grandparents and the challenging circumstances they encountered in India. They consistently fought for justice and I witnessed that. That is always in the back of my mind. What they went through was much worse than what I’m going through.
