Remote, yes. They keep an eye on your behavior through zoom rooms, which can be very VERY distracting with so many people in the room. This is not the environment for someone with ADHD. Doorbells,kids,animals,basic chit chat,ranting,music. Your breaks are scheduled, so as soon as you manage to block out the distractions, your 15-minute break is due.

Our team also helps us stand out. Before COVID-19, we had five or six employees; now, we have about 150. I’ve always wanted to try new things and change the world. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, when I was a teenager, I developed a fascination with computers. I was interested in participating in the possibilities that computers could make a reality. The idea of using computers to improve life has always fascinated me. When I was young, India was a developing nation, and I believed that for people and our society to advance economically, there needed to be a significant change in industries. And I was certain that the real keys lay in electronics and computers. So, technology was an inspiration for me.
On day one, I don’t set the bar too high, but I constantly raise it. That keeps me going. Here is where we hope to be in the following two years. When we get there, I set the bar higher again. I set the bar higher every week, in a way. Now, operating a business will require you to go through a lot of different challenges. You lose a fantastic worker, a client, and potential investors. It’s all part of the process. When I experience a setback, one thing I try to do is learn from it. Immediately I ask what went wrong. I talk to people. I call them and inquire as to what we might have done differently. I always try to find something I can learn. You can always respond to adversity. I consider my parents and grandparents and the challenging circumstances they encountered in India. They consistently fought for justice and I witnessed that. That is always in the back of my mind. What they went through was much worse than what I’m going through.
