Horrible experience. Interview lasted less than 3 minutes. Was not asked about any of my qualifications. But rather was told “I can’t have you working at your other job” when referring to my Instacart job. I may be in need of money, but not enough to make woodmans my sole employer. I could tell by the attitudes of their staff they were not pleased to hear me asking about an interview. The hiring manager even hesitated to give me a handshake when we first met. I kindly rejected the proposition to quit my side job and apologized for wasting the managers time. However their other candidate who had also applied was treated with much more respect by management and was much more handsome than me too. He even showed up after I arrived and was basically handed a job with no need for a math test before the interview process. No offense woodmans but my education and personal life are more important to me than the short term profits your company is looking for. Turns out all those negative reviews were negative for a reason. Should have never applied in the first place. I could’ve saved myself an entire hour by minding my own business. I hope this company finds what they’re looking for because there is no shortage of young pretty workers looking to be exploited. Wouldn’t recommend applying if you’re ugly. However there were plenty of cute female workers on the clock and very few male workers. I laugh at the equal employment opportunity policy that is realistically never actually followed here. Apply at Jewel-Osco instead, you’ll experience much more fair treatment.
