Auto-Pay for Effortless Bill Payment

For ultimate convenience, sign up for Auto-Pay through Meade County RECC. With Auto-Pay, your monthly electric bill is automatically paid from your bank account on the due date.

Benefits of Auto-Pay include:

To enroll in Auto-Pay, simply contact Meade County RECC and authorize us to submit your bill to your bank for direct payment each month. We’ll handle the rest!

Of course, you’ll still receive a copy of your bill for your records. Auto-Pay just removes the action item of manually making the payment yourself. It’s one less thing on your to-do list!

If you prefer making payments yourself (rather than Auto-Pay), Meade County RECC offers convenient phone and online options:

Call Meade County RECC at (270) 422-2162 or (270) 756-5172 to pay your electric bill over the phone using a credit/debit card or electronic check. Our team is available to assist you Monday to Friday from 7:30AM to 4:30PM.

Online Bill Pay

You can also easily pay your electric bill on our website using your credit/debit card or bank account. Simply login to your account anytime and select “Make Payment” to process your payment digitally in just minutes.

Online payments via our website are fast, secure, and available 24/7 for your convenience.

Pay via Credit Card

For additional flexibility, Meade County RECC accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Discover card payments in person, online, or over the phone.

Levelized Payment Plan

If you’re looking to spread out costs over the year, consider Meade County RECC’s Levelized Payment Plan. This program allows you to pay a consistent, fixed monthly amount based on your average electric usage.

Here’s how it works:

• Your levelized payment is calculated from your previous 12 months of electric bills to determine an average.

• This set monthly payment amount is charged each month for simplicity.

• Your account is still reconciled annually, but fluctuations are spread out.

Payment Locations for In-Person Payments

Sometimes paying in person just feels right. That’s why Meade County RECC offers multiple payment locations throughout our service area.

Payments can be made at our offices in Brandenburg or Hardinsburg with cash, check, or credit card. Night drop boxes are also available after hours.

For additional convenience, we partner with local businesses to offer electric bill payment stations in the community. Payment kiosks are available at:

• Heritage Bank – Brandenburg Branch
• Heritage Bank – Payneville Branch
• Heritage Bank – Flaherty Branch
• Heritage Bank – Irvington Branch

Swing by one of these locations during their normal business hours to pay your electric bill in person with ease. Cash or checks accepted.
