Relationship bankers, also known as personal bankers, are well-known positions in the customer service industry. If you apply for this position at one of the major banks (such as Wells Fargo, CitiBank, Bank of America, and others), you will almost certainly face stiff competition from other job candidates during your interview (sometimes as many as twenty).

It was a 3-part process. The first was an automated online interview where you had just a few seconds to read the question before your response was recorded. You cant stop or pause anything. It can be a little nerve-wracking, but if you’ve prepared, you should be fine. After you pass that one, an HR representative will conduct a brief telephone interview with you; if you pass that one, you will be invited to an in-person interview. In my case, however, they asked for a second telephone interview because my interviewer was ill and contagious.

I believe I submitted an online application for the job, and a few weeks later I received a call requesting a face-to-face interview because they had found my profile interesting. I went to the branch where I had two directors interview me. Very professional; inquired about my goals and future aspirations I used to work part-time for the government (administration) while pursuing my bachelor’s degree, so I think they recognize that. They questioned me and we talked about various work-related scenarios (tasks, day-to-day activities, etc.). I believe we spent 45mins to 1hr. said they would get back to me with the response within a week, and they did.
