If you think my profile is appropriate for the MFE program, please let me know. Heres a bit of my background.
I have participated in machine learning-related data science competitions, studied finance, high-frequency trading, financial risk management, inferential statistics, regression, and time series modeling, and completed projects in all of these areas as part of my coursework. I’ve been coding since I was very young, and I like it.
Please let me know what you think of my MFE profile. And given that I am already 32, does it make sense to pursue it at this time? Would there be any difficulty in getting a job because of my age?
I also see that Baruch MFE’s starting salaries are 150k, with the majority of them being in New York City. Does this investment make sense in light of the high cost of living in New York City?
