Almost certainly, something will not be set up correctly if you don’t know how all the parts should be used and how they can be expanded with custom features. This leads to two main problems: the system won’t be used correctly, and you might have to pay more money later to fix the work and make sure it’s done correctly.
  • Consulting partners earn their living by knowing Salesforce inside out. But they have also worked with customers just like you for years, so they know what to do. This means that you not only get someone who knows Salesforce, but also someone who can give you advice on your business processes and the best way to implement based on years of experience.
  • Along with feature and implementation experience, a Salesforce project will also include gathering requirements, training, and making the system easier for people to use. How well Salesforce is set up doesn’t matter if these three things aren’t in place.

1 What are the main limitations of using Salesforce Professional edition?

Salesforce Professional Edition can be thought of as a lighter edition of Salesforce Enterprise. There are some big differences between it and Enterprise that a Salesforce consultant would need to know about, even though it looks the same. It is very important to do this because you might need to suggest a different version of Salesforce if the needs are more complicated than usual.

The best way to explain the differences between Professional and Enterprise Edition, in a nutshell, is limitations. Professional Edition enforces limitations around automation, connectivity, and integrations.
