MuleSoft is a big name in my domain (Integration & APIs). When they approached me on LinkedIn, I was pleasantly surprised. Interviewing with MuleSoft was a great experience. The MuleSoft team was very professional and respectful. My recruiter David was awesome and kept me informed throughout the process. MuleSoft conducted multiple interviews. Initial phone screening followed by 2 video interviews, one with the hiring manager and another with a senior technical architect. After this stage, there were in-person interviews at MuleSoft’s regional headquarters in Chicago. For the in-person interview, I had to complete a hands-on exercise to troubleshoot a problem, as well as show my creativity and technical skills in designing a new solution using MuleSoft’s platform. The in-person interviews also involved discussions with my hiring manager’s peer and a senior manager of his department. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent in MuleSoft office with my hiring manager. By this time I was convinced that this is the company I would like to work for.MuleSoft takes hiring very seriously. The interview process assessed not only my technical skills but also soft-skills and potential. I felt they do not compromise on the right cultural fit. Throughout the process, I also learned a lot about myself.It’s my absolute pleasure to get a chance to work with this great team. I am excited to join them in a few weeks.

Rercruiter approached me in LinkedIn and asked if I am open and willing to consider working for Mulesoft. I did not reply but they followed up with the same after a week. I responded saying that I am not interested; Recruiter replied saying though not immediate, we can talk to be considered later for future openings. She handed me over to a different recruiter and she set up the call.I had a call and mentioned that I can consider Mulesoft after few months.To my suprise, I received email that they are not going ahead. I did not apply or ask Mulesoft to be considered and they put me in a rejected list. This is pathetic process.

First Recruiter called and was very good in sharing information on Mulesoft and Job Description. Then Regional Services Director called for phone screen. All he asked was speak about your work and what attracts you to Mule soft . I personally feel i have done good job in explaining this. Then i didn’t hear from Recruiter for a week and was curiously waiting for technical rounds. Then after follow up with them email comes saying not fit for this role.This is very disheartening and i feel simple these guys wasted time of a candidate. I have heard this from couple of other people too who applied for Mule-soft.
