1. What do you consider to be the most important traits as a dancer?
Employers want to know that theyre hiring people who exhibit the right traits for the role. When hiring managers ask this, theyre trying to determine if you know what it takes to succeed as a dancer. In your answer, name a few skills, traits or characteristics that you think help a dancer the most. Make sure the traits you mention are ones you have yourself. Doing this helps the hiring manager see how youre the right fit for the job.
Example: “I believe the most important traits and qualities for a dancer are perseverance and creativity. As a dancer, its important to keep going even when things get hard and youre unable to master a certain step or move. Continuing to practice and persevere helps us improve our technique over time. Its also important to have an abundance of creativity in order to come up with new and unique routines.”
