cibc fsr interview questions

If you were given the opportunity to interview for a position, it means that your resume and cover letter did a great job of outlining your qualifications. The next step is equally (if not more) important. Because interviews are frequently the first opportunity for you and the hiring manager to speak face-to-face, they are absolutely essential to the hiring process. In essence, a job interview is your chance to demonstrate to a potential employer that you are more than just a pretty face.

No matter what industry you are interested in, there will be some fairly standard interview questions, so be prepared to discuss your qualifications with assurance. However, your capacity to respond to inquiries about customer service will set you apart. Financial Service Representative Interview

Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2022

Interview

The telephone was great! The guy I spoke to made me feel comfortable and relaxed during the interview process. Give that guy a raise! As for the virtual interview, it was horrible. Honestly, the interviewer did not seem interested in interviewing me. She sat back and crossed her arms, uninterested, and I think my nerves just got the best of me seeing her act the way she did. Then it went downhill. And she said she would give me a few min to look through questions and find the answers and to reword it back to her, but I only got a min or two. Honestly, CIBC needs to evaluate the hiring managers and see how they conduct their interviews. This made me want to end my actual financial relationship with CIBC. And not because I did not get the job, which I know I did not just by the way she ended the interview, but to know that I have someone like that manager involved in my finances. So hello RBC, goodbye CIBC.

7 Customer Service Representative Interview Questions & Answers

Discuss how you always try to go above and beyond when providing service to a customer in your response to this interview question. The customer’s satisfaction with the service you provide should always be emphasized as your top priority.

Sample answer: I used to work as a customer service representative for an auto insurance company, and one time a customer called with a complaint about the repair shop that was fixing his car. The customer was distraught because he didn’t know much about cars and felt he was getting ripped off. The issue didn’t really have anything to do with the insurance company because it was not related to a claim, but I told the customer I would call the repair shop and get things straightened out. I was able to talk the manager into reimbursing the customer, and the customer was so happy with my service that he called my manager to recommend a promotion
