I had 3 interviews. The first one was mainly soft skills based, the second a case study (SWOT analysis on an M&A case). The last round was not really an interview but a friendly conversation with a director. Got to know 4 different consultants and all of them had a very nice energy.

Smooth sailing. Very responsive HR and clarity throughout the process. Written case study with obvious focus on the Asset Management sector. 3 stage, starting with understanding the company better and introducing oneself, case study, and final round with office head which is similar to the third but with more questions around CV.

Just over a year ago, I began working for Alpha FMC as part of their Graduate Scheme. I worked for a year in a small consulting firm following my graduation from the University of Oxford with a degree in history before joining Alpha FMC. I have primarily worked as a member of the benchmarking team since coming here. This entails taking a broad view of the asset management sector and evaluating our clients’ and their third-party providers’ costs and performance. To ascertain whether the prices of the services are competitive with the market, we benchmark TPAs (Third Party Administrators) and asset managers.
It’s a very young and driven firm. It has grown significantly over the past four to five years, with a core group of individuals strongly committed to maintaining this growth. The intriguing aspect is that as we expand, we hire a diverse group of individuals with a range of skills, which opens up new project opportunities and transforms the workplace into a hive of creative ideas. There is a broad range of expertise that is constantly expanding, giving you the opportunity to accomplish a lot.
