Answer: By using this definition, you can override the default values for specific cells in queries (which are intersections of two structures, one characteristics structure, and one key figure structure).
The sum of total values area is displayed. For instance, this could be used in reports where conditions are used; by default, results in conditions show the report result rather than the filtered (conditioned) totals; maximum; minimum; count all values -> number of values; count all values >0; average of all values; average of all values >0; standard deviation; variance; suppress result; first value; last value; summation of rounded values.
The normalization data is shown for each item as a percentage of the result, normalization of the result, and normalization of overall result; normalization of query result; ranked list with size of characteristic value largest being 1; ranked list'(Olympic) with size of characteristic value similar to previous but with the next smallest value when a value appears more than once not given rank increased by value 1; maximum; minimum; count all values; count all values >0; average of all values; average of all values >0; suppress single values
The root node is at the top of a hierarchy, and there can be multiple roots. Nodes are like branches of trees.
In a hierarchy, this node is used to include a sub tree multiple times.
The purpose of this is to automatically group leaves together, so that whenever a new value is added to characteristics, it is automatically added to the right interval.
This allows you to choose dynamic input for characteristics; for instance, if you’re creating a sales report for a specific product, you’ll define a variable for OMATC-RIAL.
When this option is enabled, you can stop the query from refreshing automatically after changing the query’s properties or the filter value. This feature is useful for large queries where you don’t want to wait for the system to refresh more than once after all the changes have been made.
The hex queries can be displayed using Excel templates, which you can create. Create a corporate Excel template, for instance, with the name and logo of your business. This can serve as a benchmark for your bex reports.
Fill in the blanks (nothing), then choose a workbook from the list by clicking on it. Be sure to use a permanent template.
You can modify the report using VBA; for instance, if you want to hide or remove a header or filter after each query refresh, use the SAP BEX on Refresh macro, which by default is empty. You can also modify the functionality of Bex queries in workbooks using Excel code, but keep in mind that these functions are only available on Bex. web reporting using the same query.
Answer: You can either use the admin wc bench > documents -> metadata path or when you run the query (right click to select documents for b and left click to select documents from web reports).

Data flows from transactional system to analytical system(BW). It is necessary to replicate the DS from the transactional system on the BW side and attach it to the infosource and update rules, respectively.
A: If you choose a characteristic value with a replacement path, the results from the prior query are used. For instance, let’s assume that you ran query Q1 to display the top 10 customers, and that we ran query Q2 to retrieve the top 10 customers for info object 0customer and display a detailed report on the customers list that was passed from Q1.
A: Fact table partitioning is being used by SAP to boost performance. you can partition only on 0CALMONTH or 0FISCPER.
1. heirachy attribute change run 2. Avoid loading master data from multiple source systems at once, for example, by loading it from the same infoobject. 3. rolling up for the same info cube. 4. selecting deletion of info cube/ ODS and parallel loading. 5. activation or delection of ODS object when loading parallel.
What is SAP BW/BI? What is the purpose of SAP BW/BI?
Business Information Warehouse, or SAP BW/BI, is another name for business intelligence. For any business, reporting, analyzing, and interpreting business data is essential for efficient operations and decision-making. The fact is that every company needs to maintain data in the most trustworthy way possible, and this is one of the best tools available to help companies do that. Simply put, it can assist organizations with data reporting, formatting, analysis, and crucial decision-making. I’m trying to demonstrate the difference between MTD planned and actual expenses. The period is using month per year. Since the budget is assumed to be distributed equally throughout the entire month and the planned expenses are entered by month but the actual expenses are posted by day, I created a user exit and formula to determine the current date and the day of the current month in order to calculate the MTD factor times the chosen current month planned expenses. As an illustration, if a user runs the report for March 2010 and the budget for that month is $3100 and today is March 11th, the MTD budget will be = 11/31 * 3100 = $1100. That works if the report run for current month.
However, if the user runs the query for February 2010 and the planned expense for February is $2800, the user will instead receive 11/28 * 2800 = $1100 rather than the $2800 total for the month’s expenses. If I remove the logic and the user runs the query for March 2010, they will receive an entire month planned expense of $3100 rather than $1100. I’m just wondering how I can set the logic in the query designer to recognize Feb is past and should take an entire month planned expense rather than using the factor to multiple the entire month expenses. Thanks.
