Paying your Weakley County Municipal Electric System (WCMES) bill is easy with multiple options available. As a WCMES customer you can pay online, through the WCMES app, by phone, in person at various locations, or by setting up automatic bank draft payments. This comprehensive guide will walk you through all the ways to pay your Weakley County electric bill.
Pay Online
The quickest and most convenient way to pay your WCMES electric bill is online. To pay online go to https //wcmes.utilitynexus.com/make-a-payment. You will need your 12-digit account number and payment information.
Online bill pay is available 24/7 so you can pay at your convenience. As soon as you submit payment, your WCMES account will reflect that a payment has been made. However the payment amount will not post to your account until overnight processing is complete.
A convenience fee is added to each online payment transaction. This fee goes to the third-party processor, not WCMES.
Pay Through the WCMES App
Like online bill pay, the WCMES app allows you to pay your electric bill from anywhere at any time. Download the app on your Apple or Android device by clicking the app store buttons on https://www.wcmes.com/pay-my-bill/.
Once downloaded, log into the app with your account number and payment info. The app has many useful features beyond bill pay, like tracking electric usage and managing account details.
Pay by Phone
To pay your WCMES electric bill by phone, call 1-888-643-1082. You will need to enter your 12-digit account number and payment details.
A convenience fee applies to phone payments. Payments are processed overnight, so your payment will not immediately post to your account if paying by phone.

Set Up Bank Draft Payments
For automatic bill payment each month, consider enrolling in the WCMES bank draft program. This authorizes WCMES to automatically withdraw the amount of your bill from your bank account around the monthly discount date.
To enroll, bring a voided check and photo ID to the WCMES office at 11181 Hwy. 22 in Martin, TN. Each month, you will receive a statement marked “Memorandum only; do not pay” so you know the bank draft amount.
Automatic bank drafts ensure your electric bill is paid on time each month to avoid late fees. It’s one less bill to worry about!
Payment Processing Times and Late Fees
Whether you pay online, through the app, by phone, or in person, your payment will not immediately post to your WCMES account due to overnight processing. If your account is disconnected for nonpayment, call WCMES after submitting payment to have your service restored.
WCMES bills are due by the discount date each month. Payments made after the discount date incur a late fee. If your payment is postmarked by the USPS on the due date, it will not be considered late.
If your bill remains unpaid for 7 days past the due date, you will receive a written notice that your service will be disconnected in 5 days if payment is not made. Please pay the past due amount before that date to avoid service interruption.
