The recruiter call, 1st round interview and the hiring manager interview happened in 1 day between 12pm -5pm. In the recruiter call I requested a job description because I noticed that the role had been removed, I was told they were changing the nature of the position so a new job description was not available. The feedback for not getting the job was I didn’t seem prepared to speak to the role…

In an effort to reform a foolish, dysfunctional, and conceited industry, it was about identifying and addressing customers’ pain points. It was something we felt passionate about. Our aim was to implement changes and have the market adopt them as well.

What happens in a T-Mobile HireVue interview?

In a HireVue interview, you’ll record yourself answering questions.

It’s possible that someone from T-Mobile will ask you those questions and will display them to you as a few lines of text or as a pre-recorded video.

After that, you’ll have approximately 30 seconds to prepare your response and two minutes to respond.

Be prepared to respond to anywhere between 2 and 5 questions as the number of questions varies.

As long as it has a camera, you can respond on your smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer.

Most of the questions asked will be behavioral, so make sure you are familiar with how to respond to those. The STAR method is the most effective way to respond to them; if you’re not sure how to use it to ace every question, watch the video below.

You also want to be aware of T-Mobile’s corporate values. Through the lens of those values, you want to respond to the behavioral questions on HireVue. This will greatly simplify the hiring manager’s job since they check for these qualities in every applicant they consider.

You can find T-Mobile’s corporate values on its website. Check out their website to learn more about T-Mobile’s history and corporate objectives as well; having an understanding of these things will come in very handy during interviews.

Can you please tell us something about yourself?

The most typical first question, the icebreaker. You should be aware that T-Mobile’s HR and recruitment departments are enormous, similar to those of other large businesses, and it’s possible that the person conducting your interview has never seen your resume before. Due to what they observed, additional individuals chose to shortlist you for the following hiring stage. Therefore, you shouldn’t assume that just because you disclosed something on your job application, the person seated across from you will be aware of it.

You should put the majority of your attention into your advantages in your introduction. This largely depends on your level of experience, but also on a number of other factors. Focus primarily on your relevant experience, such as previous employment with a telecom company or in sales or customer service, and briefly describe the position you held as well as your responsibilities and accomplishments there.

Your main priorities should be your personality, skills, and preferences if you lack experience. Inform them of your exceptional sales and communication abilities, your interest in the telecom sector and its products, and how the job description aligns with your expectations and preferences for your new position. You can also include one or two details about your personal life (such as your main hobby) to demonstrate that you have interests outside of work and won’t be a bore at work.
