The pageant questions that you are about to read were taken from the data of our famous “Question of the Day”, asking titleholders what pageant questions they were asked immediately following their interview and talking with pageant judges ranging from the Miss America panel to local Fairs and Festivals pageants to Miss World.
These pageant questions were then put into a massive list to look for what questions were repeated most commonly. For our Question of the Day, we looked for the pageant questions that were most shared and combed through the comments on Facebook and on our site that said things like, “When I was asked that here is how I responded” and “I was asked that at my last pageant.”

- How different would the world be if women were to rule the world?

Over the years of being involved in the pageant industry, I’ve noticed that when people talk about past beauty pageants the most memorable thing they recall, ironically, has nothing to do with beauty at all. Everyone seems to always remember the final questions in beauty pageants and how they were answered. The importance of the final question and the equally important pageant interview questions cannot be denied. This is why so many pageant girls spend fortunes on pageant coaches who help them nail their interview and final questions.
At Own That Crown, we understand the importance of preparing for your upcoming beauty pageant without spending an arm and a leg! This is why we have compiled 378 questions for you to study; including current events from 2022! These expert-written questions will no doubt help you be more prepared for when you’re up on stage under the spotlight expecting the unexpected. 10 Political Pageant Interview Questions
However, I must admit that there is more to beauty pageants that simply walking around in bikinis looking stunning. Although it may seem like all it takes is to look gorgeous to become a beauty queen, it takes more than that. Besides beauty and grace, contestants need to show that they are capable of more than just being beautiful. They must balance brains with beauty as having only one of them is not enough. There, on the stage, they have an amazing opportunity to show that they are able to do. To show that they can do more than look lovely. The interview portion of beauty pageants is where contestants can win our support or lose it, based on their answers. During these few moments, all eyes are on them, and everyone is listening to what they’ll say. They can either amaze us or disappoint us and the pressure of knowing this must be terrible. The interview questions are sometimes similar so the contestants can prepare ahead of time. Read our list 50 Common Beauty Pageant Questions and Answers for Teenagers to find out what those questions are.
Pageant interview questions are tricky since no contestant wants to alienate any viewers, so the answers must satisfy everyone. It sounds pretty hard to do, right? It is especially difficult if the contestants have only a few seconds to think of an answer that will elate everyone in the audience as well as viewers across the world. Sometimes, the contestants are faced with very complex political questions and they are expected to give their opinion on current events. We found such questions on The Washington Post and Storify, to name a few sources that we’ve used, and we collected the most interesting ones to make a list of 10 political pageant interview questions.
We may or may not support beauty pageants but regardless of our opinion, they are being held everywhere. Ever since we learn how to walk and talk, we are somehow involved in all sorts of competitions where we are compared to other kids. There is something inexplicable about beauty pageants that people will simply love. What is it about it that we enjoy so much? Is it the judging of a contestant’s appearance? And how is beauty defined anyway? What one person considers beautiful may be hideous for another so how do we choose the most beautiful woman? It never seizes to puzzle me.
Training for a beauty pageant is one of the best experiences a young woman can have to improve herself.
Every woman who has prepared for a beauty pageant (or any type of pageant competition for that matter) can also tell you — training for a beauty pageant is really like training for life (more on that in an upcoming article).
Practicing for a beauty pageant interview specifically will help you reflect seriously on some insightful questions, develop a point of view, and practice portraying your thoughts articulately.
Being quick on your feet to answer eloquently is a life skill you can use in work life (like job interviews, or presentations) and even ordinary everyday conversation too.
Who knows — maybe you’re on your way to being the next Oprah Winfrey or Halle Berry (both former pageant girls).
Whether you’re training for an upcoming pageant or training for life in general (our motto here), knowing how to answer interview questions like a beauty pageant boss will certainly make you a more eloquent, articulate, and poised woman.
