fbi youth leadership program interview questions

Jacob Carroll, a student at Oceanside High School, has been accepted to the FBI National Academy’s 2020 Youth Leadership Program in Quantico, Virginia.

Oceanside reported in its newsletter that the Youth Leadership Program’s selection procedure, which involves both a written application process and an in-person interview with a panel of experts, is very challenging.

A student may be selected in one of two ways for this program. They can do so by contacting their local FBI National Academy Associate, which only accepts one applicant from New England. Another option is to use the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Administration, a national organization that only selects one student from the entire country to represent them.

Carroll was selected by FBI LEEDA out of hundreds of applicants, which was an honor. The Youth Leadership Program only accepts 60 students, ages 14 to 16, from all over the world each year. He will also be given a $1,000 award for additional education.

Sadly, he will have to wait and attend the program in 2021 due to the coronavirus.

Please join us in recognizing this outstanding young man, his numerous achievements, his dedication, and the great honor he has attained. The newsletter stated that “The abilities and leadership you have exhibited reflect greatly on you, your family, and community,” as stated in FBI-LEEDA’s letter of acceptance.
