If you prefer, you can mail in a payment each month. Simply fill out the payment coupon from your bill and enclose it with your check or money order. No cash is accepted.

You can also pay your Polk County water bill in person at the utility office They have lobby and drive-thru payment windows available.

Lobby and drive-thru hours are Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. You can pay by cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card.

After hours, a secure drop box is available for check or money order payments. No cash is accepted in the drop box.

For cash payments, you can visit any Amscot location in Central Florida. Bring your current bill with you so they can properly credit your account. Payments made after 10:59pm will post to your account the next business day.

Amscot charges their own convenience fees for this service. It’s a quick option if you need to pay in cash.

Avoid Late Fees

Your Polk County water bill must be paid by the due date to avoid late fees. The late fee is $6 or 5% of the bill, whichever is greater.

Payments made after 11:59pm on the due date – whether online, by phone, or in person – will be marked late. Setting up auto-pay through the portal is the best way to avoid late fees.
